"I am untangling you from my skin. This town feels smaller than before. I am waiting for a new beginning. I finally stop locking the door."
This poem aches in the most beautiful way, marga 🥀🌸 It's tender and devastating in equal measure. And the way it unfolds, line by line, stanza by stanza - it feels so effortless and true, as though grief is slowly making room for something softer, something that might one day resemble hope. Absolutely beautiful! 🩷
Oh wow. Your words just touched my heart!!! It means so much that you felt that ache and the hope underneath it. Thank you for reading it so closely and for seeing the meaning in those lines 🥹💕
"The ghost in the grocery aisle" is the kind of detail that costs something to notice, let alone write down. How long did you carry these before they became poems?
Oh wow. That’s such a thoughtful observation. Some of these lived in my notes app for months, just waiting for the right moment to be written down. Thanks for noticing that, Steve! 😌🤍
So tender, so pure :) Every piece offered a new perspective and insight. A sense of longing, a sense of belonging... things you turn over in your mind. I felt every line. As always beautifully done, glistening under those parking lot street lights!
I’m so moved that you felt every line, Alex! That’s the highest compliment I could ask for. Thank you for sitting with these pieces under those street lights with me 🥹🤍

Lovely writing!
Imposter syndrome is something I have been circling with and hearing so much of lately.
Finding the courage to stop and blink - what a great message.
Oh, I totally feel you on that. It’s such a loud headspace to be in, so I'm really happy that little reminder resonated. Thanks for reading, Pen! 🤗🤍
A stunning collection!
Thank you, Kourtney!!! 🫣💕
